Windstar Cruises christened Star Legend, the last between its three new power yachts which became part of the fleet in 2014.

The ceremony took place in Rome on May 25 (Monday). The all-suite ship received the traditional Champagne bottle crack from her godmother - the president & CEO of Omega World Travel and Cruise.com, Gloria Bohan.

Originally floated as Seabourn Legend, the 212-guest vessel underwent a 3-week renovation in Genoa, that cost $8.5 million. The stern-to-bow refit included expansion of the Veranda Cafe and outdoor Star Deck, addition of Windstar's famed Yacht Club, a new swim-against-the-current pool, a whirlpool and other upgrades.

After her inaugural voyage to Italy, France and Spain, the Star Legend yacht will sail in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe during summer months.
