Carnival Cruise Line revealed more kid-friendly amenities for its latest cruise ship, Carnival Vista, scheduled to launch May 2016.

As part of Carnival's previously announced Family Harbor (an area with 96 family-friendly staterooms), the vessel will also offer a special lounge, kid-exclusive extras and a family concierge.

The Family Harbor Lounge will feature board games, TVs, and complimentary breakfast and snacks. Kids staying in Family Harbor cabins will be also pampered with pint-sized bathrobes and slippers to use while on board.

Passengers who booked in Family Harbor rooms will have access to a family concierge for assistance with things like booking shore excursions, spa treatments and dinner reservations. Kids younger than 12 will be able to eat in all for-fee restaurants on board Carnival Vista without a cover charge.

The ship also brings back plenty kid-friendly options, already found on other Carnival ships, including the water park WaterWorks (slated to be the largest for the line with a 450-feet-long tube slide), SportSquare, Dr.Seuss Bookville and Camp Ocean kids club.

New to Carnival Vista are the first IMAX theater at sea, open-air SkyRide and, parents only, onboard brewery.
