The new program offers a marriage on board or on shore in several destinations, including: the Bahamas (Nassau), Barbados (Bridgetown), Cayman Islands (Grand Cayman), Jamaica (Falmouth), Mexico (Cozumel), Puerto Rico (San Juan), St. Maarten (Philipsburg) and St. Thomas (Charlotte Amalie). Another chance is to get married on the embark day in Miami.
MSC Cruises partners with a professional wedding-planning company, The Wedding Experience, and offers packages, starting at $1,600 for a ship-board and $2,200 for a shore-side wedding. The event planners work with couples to handle the details of the wedding or vow renewal, and provide a wedding consultant and a ceremony coordinator.
Receptions and ceremonies on MSC Divina offer various options for everything - from videography packages, fresh flowers, music, food and beverage packages, to specialty items such as personalized stationary for invitations and transportation for shore-side events.
The couples booking groups of 13 or more staterooms receive a complimentary stateroom with a balcony. Those booking a group of at least 30 receive a complimentary suite or Yacht Club stateroom (for a group of 50).
MSC Divina also offers a wealth of locations for photo opportunities. The most popular locations include a traditional photo along the Swarovski crystal staircases and by The Garden infinity pool.
SC Cruises Divina is the first in fleet to offer legal weddings. On-board ceremonies can welcome up to 150 non-sailing guests. The basic wedding package includes a pre-sailing event manager, ceremony coordinator, bottle of Champagne, cake for two, bridal bouquet, and 1-hour photo session.
