Carnival Changes Future Cruise Program

Carnival Cruise Line offers incentives to people on current voyages if they book their next cruise before disembarking. However, a few major changes have been made by the line to its Future Cruise Vacation plan.

Cruisers will still be able to book a future sailing either while onboard or within 2 weeks of their return to shore, and they will be able to do so through a travel agent, Carnival HUB app, or onboard Loyalty and Cruise Rep. In the past, passengers could only book through onboard reps. At the time of booking, they will be able to take advantage of reduced deposits, a 2-category upgrade and 20% off Early Saver rates with price protection.

Passengers who opt to change the sail date will lose their onboard credit. That credit will be forfeited in case the price drops and cruisers opt to rebook, which wasn't true previously. While in the past the amount of credit offered varied depending on sailing's length, it will now be a flat rate of US$25 per person (up to US$50 per cabin) with the exception of suites, receiving a USD 50 per person credit (up to USD 100 per cabin).

Travel agents are still able to book their customers into a group booking with the offer, however the previously available Friends & Family vouchers (allowing folks who may like to sail with you to get the same deal) will not be offered any longer.

Carnival remains the only cruise line that allows passengers to take advantage of Future Cruise Vacation promotion up to 2 weeks after disembarkation.
