Costa Cruises will celebrate June 2, Italian Republic Day, onboard company's Italian-flagged cruise ships. The celebratory events will be organized by Italian embassies and consulates in 4 Nordic destinations.

Italian gastronomic culture is the highlight of the events. Tempting luncheons will feature tastes of the culinary tradition of Italy, as well as "made in Italy" brands of excellence, including spumante Ferrari, Caffè Illy, and Maitre Chocolatier Guido Gobino. Costa company will present a typical Italian breakfast in Oslo with the best traditional pastries.

According to Neil Palomba, Costa Cruises' president, company ships, all flying the Italian flag, had been the "ambassadors of Italy's finest on seas around the globe for the last 67 years".  He added that each year during the festivities, they renewed the June 2 celebration, so that all guests, and not only the Italian ones, could share the values that distinguished the Italian spirit and unmistakable lifestyle.

Costa Cruises will celebrate Italian Republic Day with all passengers on its vessels in addition to the events organized in northern European countries. The June 2 program includes special cocktails and menus inspired by the Italian flag. Not to forget the playing of the national anthem.

The line will also provide support to Dubai's general consulate for organizing the festivities to promote the Italian excellences with local communities.
