Seven Seas Explorer is currently marketed by Regent Seven Seas as the most luxurious vessel at sea. Debuting in summer 2016, the 56,000-GT, all-suite, all-balcony vessel will carry just 750 passengers, boasting the highest space-per-guest ratio in cruise industry. Passengers sailing on it will benefit from superior spa treatments, state-of-the-art fitness center and an infinity plunge pool.
The spa will be located on Explorer's Deck 5. Regent Seven Seas has partnered with spa experts Canyon Ranch and Red Flower (a high-end beauty products & lifestyle company).
The Canyon Ranch SpaClub on board Seven Seas Explorer is inspired by the cocoon concept, seen in the spa's design, with silk wrap woven into a chrysalis. The central Swarovski crystal sculpture creates the effect of a magnifficent forest at twilight. Explorer's SpaClub will also boast marble flooring and light-grained wood.
The spa will feature heated loungers and 8 treatment rooms, where guests can choose from a variety of skin, therapeutic and massage options, many of which exclusive to Seven Seas Explorer. The Red Flower treatments are inspired by destinations: a "Ritual of the Arctic Sea" includes ingredients from the Arctic Circle, as well as oils made from Arctic evergreen and berry.
Also available is a thermal suite, where spa-goers can visit an aromatic steam room, infrared sauna and cold room (with temperature 54 degrees Fahrenheit, equal to 12 degrees Celsius). The shower room offers varying degrees of water pressure, preset treatment options, chroma-therapeutic audio effects, including waterfalls and thunderstorms.
Adjacent to the spa is an outdoor private deck with an infinity plunge pool, providing unobstructed views from back of the ship. Passenger can also take a circular staircase to the fitness center on Deck 6, which will offer cardio and weight machines, free weights and space for cycling, yoga and Pilates classes.
