Windstar goes on with the changes to its deployment. The cruise line announced 8 new itineraries in Northern Europe plus 12 new Mediterranean itineraries, bringing the total unique itineraries in Europe of Windstar for 2018 to the impressive 40.

A total of 26 new European ports are included, increasing the global number of maiden ports of the company to 93 for 2018.

The sailings, which run from April through October, include “small ship-only” experiences, such as cruising the narrow Trollfjord in Lofoten Islands; docking in downtown London close to the Tower of London, where passengers can marvel at Tower Bridge; or tucking into San Remo on Riviera of Flowers, popular as Italy’s Monte Carlo.

Windstar Cruises 3 all-suite power yachts opened up new places for the line to explore, including more ports of call in Northern Europe and smaller ports in the Mediterranean. The ships are perfectly suited to sailing into small harbors and fjords, and larger distances at higher speed.

The destination expansion of Windstar brings a yacht to Asia later in 2017 on a host of new itineraries. On tap for 2018 are new cruises in Alaska, Canada and New England.

Europe 2018 voyages will feature something for everyone, including from shorter week-long trips to epic multi-week cruises.
