Total Eclipse Cruise Promoted by Royal Caribbean

Millions of people across the United States will see a total eclipse of the Sun on August 21, 2017. For those who want the best vantage point, Royal Caribbean International is offering a special cruise.

Dubbed the, "Total Eclipse Cruise," Oasis of the Seas will sail on a 7-night Caribbean voyage, which will reach the optimal spot at sea for passengers to witness the total solar eclipse. During the cruise, the sun will be entirely covered by the moon.

Royal Caribbean's Total Eclipse Cruise will feature a party with a live concert that will be performed by a major headliner (revealed at a later date) in order to celebrate the celestial phenomenon - poised to become the most photographed event in human history.

Events include enrichment lectures, dance parties, trivia, interactive science fun for children, tasty cocktails and dishes with names including Cosmic Cosmo, Moon Pie and Planetary Punch.

The 7-night Total Eclipse Cruise onboard Oasis of the Seas sets sail on August 20, 2017 from Orlando (Port Canaveral), Florida. It will visit Eastern Caribbean destinations, including St Maarten, St Thomas USVI, and Nassau.
