VIDEO: Royal Caribbean Creates a Waterproof Version of Snapchat's Spectacles

Snap partnered with Royal Caribbean International to offer its clients a waterproof pair of Spectacles in order to dive in the sea and capture footage.

The "SeaSeekers" are still a prototype, but can last up to 30 min underwater, and reach 150 ft (46 m) below the surface.

Snap and Royal Caribbean are testing the sea goggles with a couple of divers, wildlife photographer Roberto Ochoa and marine biologist Gabriela Nava, but plan to roll out a final device to clients by fall 2017.

The masks will allow capturing the best moments of people's submarine explorations with no need to carry a GoPro or other specialized equipment.
