Launched in 2017, Majestic Princess is the third Royal-class Princess Cruises ship, together with the sister-ships Royal Princess and Regal Princess. It is also the fleet's (and Carnival Corporation's) first vessel constructed specifically for China. On July 9, 2017, in Shanghai China will be held the vessel's christening ceremony led by the Chinese godparents Yao Ming (Houston Rockets' basketball legend) and his wife - Ye Li. Yao Ming is an 8-time NBA All-Star with Houston Rockets and inductee into NBA Hall of Fame.
Launched in 2006, Freedom of the Seas is the first Freedom-class Royal Caribbean ship, together with Liberty and Independence. Freedom was the 2006's biggest passenger liner in the world, taking the first place away from Cunard Line's Queen Mary 2.
