Seatrade Cruise Asia event, due to take place June 11-12 in Busan, Korea has been postponed to a later date.
The increasing notifications of withdrawal from the Seatrade, made by key stakeholders - cruise lines, delegate and speakers, are due to the current MERS-CoV (Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus) related circumstances in Korea and travel restrictions imposed by other Asian countries.
As the planned conference programme cannot be longer delivered in its published form, Seatrade is advising that the event would need to be postponed.
The general manager Seatrade, Andrew Williams, commented that the decision had not been an easy one and they had looked into every possibility, in consultation with the industry, they felt was "the most appropriate course of action".
UBM media company remains committed to supporting global cruise industry and a successful delivery of Seatrade Cruise Asia event. The new dates are to be announced as soon as possible.
