Starting April 2018, Hurtigruten will add Atlantic Canada, Newfoundland, Gulf of Saint Lawrence and New England to line's itineraries.
Following 2017-2018 winter season in Antarctica, ms Fram will depart from Miami in early April 2018 and sail up the East Coast in order to offer April & May cruises between New York and Halifax. Key call ports include New York and Boston.
One of the most interesting itineraries will be a 15-night round-trip from New York (April 15), visiting Newport, Boston, 3 ports in Maine, Halifax, St Pierre, Louisbourg, New York and Portland.
On April 30, ms Fram will depart from New York on a 10-night voyage to Yarmouth, Charlottetown PEI, Perce, Bonaventure Island, and Havre Saint Pierre in Quebec, Bonne Bay NF, Magdalen Islands and Halifax.
MS Fram will offer 6 such Atlantic Canada & New England cruises prior to returning to her Iceland, Greenland & Northern Europe itineraries for the summer months.
In October the ship will return to Halifax after the usual expedition cruises to northern waters. On October 8, ms Fram will offer a 12-night voyage from Halifax to Miami with visits to 5 New England ports such as Boston, an overnight in New York and a call in Charleston prior to arriving at Miami.
