Passenger Medevaced From Carnival Dream

A 77-year-old man has been medevaced from a cruise liner near Southwest Pass, Louisiana.

On Saturday, July 1, the New Orleans Coast Guard has been requested to transport a male passenger of the Carnival Dream ship, for having abdominal pain.

A boatcrew has been released in a 45ft response boat and the cruiser has been taken to Station Venice where emergency medical serves had been waiting.

He has later transported to West Jefferson Medical Center, according to the Coast Guard, in stable condition.
