Passengers onboard Carnival Spirit when it was struck by 100 km/h winds shared footage of the frightening experience.
The ship was off the New South Wales' coast when it encountered wild weather on Saturday, August 19, causing chaos among her 2,550 passengers.
Images shared on social media showed the amazing aftermath of the event, with lots of plates smashed across floors, with spilled food and cutlery.
No one was injured during the event and all passengers returned safely to Sydney on Monday, August 21.
