Kalundborg to Boast Turnaround Infrastructure

Port of Kalundborg (Zealand Island, Denmark) entered into partnership with PWL Port Services and Blue Water Shipping to introduce the port as the newest gateway to the Baltics, which caters to large cruise ships with access to Copenhagen Airport and the city itself. The partners will have responsibility for the terminal operation and acquisition.

The building of a 330,000 m2 port area is scheduled for completion in February 2019. Around 25,000 m2 will be specifically designated for cruise operations facilitating turnarounds for the biggest ships in the industry. A 500-meter-long quay with a depth of 15 meters will be available.
