Passenger Medevaced From Carnival Pride

The Coast Guard medevaced a 71-year-old man from a Carnival Cruise Line's ship off the coast of Morehead City September 25, Monday.

Watchstanders in Coast Guard Sector North Carolina Command Center, Wilmington received a report of a passenger suffering heart attack symptoms from Carnival Pride.

The call came on Monday, September 25, around noon. An Air Station Elizabeth City helicopter crew hoisted the man from the cruise ship along with a nurse. Both were transported to Vidant Medical Center, Greenville NC.
