Passenger Medevaced From Carnival Cruise Ship

A rescue helicopter has medevaced a 76-year-old woman from the deck of a Carnival Cruise Line's ship off the NSW coastline.

The Westpac helicopter has been called out by Carnival Spirit, which was east of South West Rocks on NSW mid-north, in order to rescue the passenger about 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4.

The woman was suffering from an unknown medical condition and following the medevac was flown to hospital.
