Hanseatic Inspiration First Steel Cut

Construction of second new expedition ship of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, Hanseatic Inspiration, is already underway at Vard's shipyard (Tulcea Romania).

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises' ceo, Karl J. Pojer, gave the official start for the production process. The svp and yard director general, Tudorel Topa, presented the management team of the cruise line with a symbolic steel silhouette of the new ship.

The hull of the sister of Hanseatic Nature (currently under construction) will be built in Romania prior to being transported for outfitting to Vard Langsten shipyard in Norway.

The christening ceremony of Hanseatic inspiration is scheduled for October 2019.
