Carnival Returns to St. Thomas and St. Maarten in January

CCL-Carnival Cruise Line is taking it slow about returning to hurricane-ravaged St Thomas USVI and St Maarten.

Next month Royal Caribbean resumes stops at the still-recovering destinations, but CCL's president Christine Duffy last week said that the line would wait until January to restart calls.

In a letter to clients posted on the website of CCL, Duffy set the beginning of 2018 as a time frame for the return to St Maarten and St Thomas. She also set a hard date of November 30 for the resumption of calls at the hit by hurricane port San Juan, and said visits to Grand Turk would resume in less than a couple of weeks.
