The cruise tourism sector in Abu Dhabi is expected to see growth of 5% during the coming season with a total of 346,000 passengers expected to visit the emirate.

4 maiden calls are scheduled in Abu Dhabi, so the emirate is currently at the forefront of Gulf’s ambitions to become a leading international winter sun cruise destination.
The growth in projected passenger numbers follows a series of initiatives to develop the cruise sector in Abu Dhabi as a primary product in its economic diversification.
Abu Dhabi's cruise season will run until May 2018.
