Royal Caribbean Unveils New Amenities for Independence of the Seas

Royal Caribbean is to launch a fish & chips restaurant onboard Independence of the Seas when the ship returns to Southampton in May next year following extensive refurbishment.

The new restaurant is named Fish & Ships. It will sit next to Splashaway Bay waterpark and is the latest announcement of the cruise line regarding the new culinary offering.

Independence of the Seas will also have a Sugar Beach Candy & Ice Cream Store, boasting with homemade ice cream and sweets.

Independence of the Seas will return to the UK after a multimillion renovation. Other dining venues to be added onboard include the main dining hall, Chops Grille, Izumi, Giovanni’s Table, Johnny Rockets and Windjammer.
