BSO Deputies' Boat Collides with Cruise Ship

Two Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies have been taken to hospital on Saturday, November 11, after their patrol boat crashed into a Holland America cruise ship in Port Everglades Harbor.

According to officials, the deputies’ patrol boat suffered a mechanical failure, which caused it to collide with ms Oosterdam cruise ship at around 4:30 p.m.

The deputies, both with non-life-threatening injuries, have been transported to Broward Health Medical Center.

The departure of ms Oosterdam has been delayed as crews had to inspect the superficial damage.
