Virgin Voyages soon revealed it is building its own cruise ship. Company's founder Richard Branson shared he wanted it to be the cleanest on the seas. The newbuild will feature a gray hull, touches of the Virgin red and smoked glass. The cruise line wants to install technology that will turn waste into energy, aiming to leave nothing behind.
There are 3 Virgin ships in production, each due to host more than 2,700 passengers and 1,150 crew. The first sailing is scheduled for 2020.
