Royal Caribbean Doubles Cruises to Cuba 2018

Royal Caribbean will double the opportunities for Cuba adventures in summer 2018, with a couple of ships sailing to the island nation – Empress of the Seas and Majesty of the Seas – and 2 new destinations added to line's itineraries.

The added cruises and breadth of experiences at new ports, Cienfuegos and Santiago de Cuba, provide adventure seekers with more ways to immerse themselves in the history and culture of the vibrant island. The historic cities of Havana, Cienfuegos and Santiago will be among the destinations on a series of 4- to 8-night Caribbean adventures onboard Empress OTS, now open for sale.

Departing from PortMiami year-round, Empress OTS itineraries will include 8-day Best of Cuba itineraries to Havana, Cienfuegos and Nassau, 6-day sailings visiting Key West and spending the night in Havana, as well as an immersive 9-day journey to Santiago de Cuba, Cienfuegos, Grand Cayman and Labadee Haiti.

Majesty of the Seas continues with the 5- and 6-day offerings to Havana which include day and overnight stays, departing Tampa from April through October 2018, and Ft Lauderdale from November 2018 through March 2019.

All cruises to Cuba will offer shore trips designed for passengers to experience the destination and comply with the people-to-people educational activities requirement as set forth in U.S. regulations.
