Carnival Fascination is scheduled for a multi-million dollar drydock refurbishment in 2018 adding a number of new (Carnival Cruise Lines signature) dining venues.

The dry dock will take place from February 4 through 17, 2018 and Fascination will receive the addition of Carnival staples including Guy’s Burger Joint, Alchemy Bar, Cherry on Top candy store, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, BlueIguana Cantina Mexican eatery, RedFrog Rum Bar, and Bonsai Sushi Express.

Following the renovation, Carnival Fascination will head to San Juan, where she will homeport starting early 2018. Currently, the liner is still helping FEMA house relief workers in Saint Croix Island USVI that is still recovering from September’s hurricanes.

Initially, Carnival Cruise Line returned to San Juan in November. The port city was slammed by storms and the island was left without power after Hurricane Maria. The cruise line announced its return to the port early October as businesses and shops around the port returned to normal operations and the cruise ship terminal announced it was ready to host passengers.
