The first “mega” cruise liner will visit Alaska during summer 2018.

The 4,000-guest Norwegian Bliss starts making Alaskan port calls in June. The “megaships” are part of the trend sending more travellers to Alaska by sea.

The cruise ships will carry up to twice as many guests as some current vessels in Alaska.
