The British operator CMV Travel & Leisure Group announced the deployment of 46,052 GT CMV Magellan to Mexico's Pacific Coast for winter 2019 to support the launch of Cruceros Marítimos Vacacionales and Mexican Riviera cruise program, exclusively aimed at Mexican domestic market.
CMV Magellan will commence operations on February 3, 2019 with an introductory debut season of eight 7-night sailings homeporting from Acapulco every Sunday and Manzanillo every Friday. The season ends on March 31, 2019.
The itinerary will include visits to Manzanillo and Cabo San Lucas in Baja California peninsula plus 2 days at sea. Acapulco will be the gateway port serving the region of Mexico City and Guerrero. Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan, apart from being transit calls will provide secondary gateway ports to Leon, Guadalajara and northern Mexico States.
