Ritz-Carlton cruise line celebrated the keel-laying of its inaugural yacht (Azora) at Hijos De J. Barreras Shipyard (Vigo, Spain).
Representing a first for luxury hotel operator, Ritz-Carlton brings the brand to the seas via bespoke small cruise ship experience.
The collection is due to launch in the 4th quarter of 2019. Reservations for the first of 3 yachts in the series open in May.
The inaugural cruise ship will sail a variety of destinations depending on the season, including Caribbean.
The small capacity, specially designed vessels will measure 190-meters and offer 149 luxury suites to accommodate up to 298 guests.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection voyages will range from 7 to 10 days. The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection ships are also available for private charter.
