Princess Cruises announced it is adding 2 more Fathom Travel voyages to hurricane-affected Caribbean destinations.

The first sailing, on January 20 departure aboard Crown Princess, has been sold out. Caribbean Princess and Regal Princess will offer the additional cruses, departing May 26 and March 18, respectively.

The new small group voyages will allow passengers to take part in local impact activities in destinations in the Caribbean impacted by Hurricane Irma and Maria, under the direction of small group leaders. The inaugural cruise onboard Crown Princess included activities like a donation drop of over 2,000 items for young families in St.Thomas or repairing a school and homes in a Dominican Republic's community.

Initially, Fathom debuted as a social impact brand for Carnival Corp., offering voluntourism cruises onboard Adonia (which has since been bought by Azamara Cruises). However, Fathom will continue to offer social impact shore trips on sailing by other brands owned by Carnival Corporation.
