Passengers on the Fred Olsen’s ship Braemar this Spring will have the chance to ‘steer the ship’, on line's innovative 15-day ‘You Choose Your Cruise’ Baltic itinerary departing from Southampton on May 29, 2018, for adults only.
On the unique ‘cruise with a twist’, Fred Olsen passengers are able to ‘chart the ship’s course’ as they choose between 2 ports of call as the vessels sails. They can decide between popular capital cities, or visit little-known gems across Germany, Denmark, Finland, Estonia and The Netherlands.
Each passenger’s ballot is counted, then the result is delivered to the ship's Captain, who unveils the winning choice. Just two highlights have been confirmed: an overnight in St Petersburg and a Kiel Canal sailing, that is inaccessible to bigger ships because of size restrictions.
