Green Bay to Become Port of Call

Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay are ports of call on a 9-night "Great Lakes Cruise" from Milwaukee WI to Windsor Ontario. The voyage is operated by Victory Cruise Lines.

According to Dean Haen, Brown County Port Director, Green Bay could become a cruise destination for additional ships.

He added they would have 2 port of calls in Green Bay. Victory will be visiting in July and August, and in 2019 there are expected 8 cruise lines on the Great Lakes, all carrying international passengers.

The vessels average around 400 feet in length and accommodate up to 400 guests. Passengers are paying over US$6,000 per person for their trip.

Haen said what they were interested in was culture, arts, Oneida Tribe, German-Belgian heritage, Native American history.

The cruise ships are due to dock at the city-owned Leicht Park.
