Silversea’s ship Silver Spirit was split into 2 parts as part of a complex USD 70 million project to extend it by 49 ft. The 560-passenger ship, which first launched 9 years ago, comes back into service on May 6, 2018 after being lengthened at Fincantieri shipyard in Palermo.
Extensive refurbishment onboard will attempt to mirror the design of Silversea’s latest vessel, Silver Muse.
Silver Spirit’s pool deck area is to be increased from 30 to 40m2 and the owner’s suite will be overhauled as part of the project.
