The Indian Ocean's Vanilla islands comprise of Comoros, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, Seychelles and Reunion, all working together for the development of region’s tourism industry.

During the last two years, works undertaken as a united group have been paying dividends in the number of cruise vessels now sailing between the group of islands and beyond. Following a record 2017, with over 43,000 passengers arriving in the ports of the region, the tourism sector continues to grow.

Silversea announced that the ship Silver Discoverer will be deployed in the Indian Ocean as of October 2018 for several Inter-Island voyages.
