MSC Cruises celebrated a major milestone and revealed some big news for its passengers.
The cruise line marked the moment that the MSC Meraviglia ship made an official maiden call at her homeport in Hamburg, and delighted cruise fans by sharing details about upcoming flagship MSC Grandiosa.
During the celebrations, the company announced that Grandiosa, set to become the largest ship to date in MSC Cruises fleet, will be christened in Hamburg when she debuts in 2019. The official ceremony is set to take place on November 2, 2019.
MSC Grandiosa will be home to a couple of new Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows, created exclusively for the cruise brand.
Passengers can expect impressive features, such as a large Mediterranean-style promenade with specialty restaurants and shops, as well as a new bar and lounge with a stage and a dancefloor, named L’Atelier Bistrot.
