Carnival Cruise Line Reaches Contract Extension with JAXPORT

Carnival Cruise Line and JAXPORT announced on Monday that they had reached an agreement to extend cruise services for additional 3 years.

The agreement calls for 3 extra 2-year renewal options as well as improvements to the terminal building and guest experience. 

The contract could start as early May 2021 and potentially last until 2027.

Carnival Elation continues offering year-round Bahamas cruises from JAXPORT North Jacksonville Cruise Terminal. 

Starting May 2019, the upgraded Carnival Ecstasy sets sail for her year-round 4-and 5-day cruise program. 

According to JAXPORT, the cruise line offers year-round cruises from Jacksonville to a total of 170,000 passengers per year.
