Princess Cruises brings the flavors of Mexico in 2019-2020 with cruises to top ports and enhanced onboard culinary offerings, shore excursions and entertainment options.

With over 50 years of experience in the region, Princess brings passengers to the best Mexican ports including Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan.

Highlights for 2019-2020 season include the introduction of Royal Princess, one of the line’s newest vessels to Mexico, for her first full season based in LA. Royal Princess offers a total of 27 departures including 7-day Mexico itineraries, as well as opportunities offering passengers more time in port with an overnight in Cabo San Lucas on 5-day Cabo San Lucas Getaway sailings.

As the only cruise line to offer year-round cruises from San Francisco, Princess Cruises also offers roundtrip 10-day Mexico itineraries aboard Grand Princess in 2019. Next year, Star Princess will also return to the west coast, featuring 10-day Baja Peninsula and Sea of Cortez with roundtrip voyages from LA with an overnight in Cabo San Lucas.

Developed via collaboration with Bill Esparza, popular author and leading expert on Latin American cuisine, cruise line’s enhanced shore trips along the west coast take passengers off the beaten path, on culinary experiences featuring the region's local flavors. Esparza developed culinary shore trips for Princess in Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas.

Passengers booking Mexico itineraries will be introduced to the traditions and tastes of Mexico through onboard programmes including authentic Mexican buffet, live mariachi performances, culinary demonstration, tequila tastings, margarita making demonstration, celebratory Mexican Fiesta event, local crafts and activities.
