Pianist Jools Holland will become the face of restaurant and bar ‘The Club by Jools’ on Saga Cruises' first new-build vessel, Spirit of Discovery.
The composer, broadcaster and bandleader, best known for his BBC show Later… with Jools Holland, was awarded an OBE in 2003 for services to British music industry. He will perform several live gigs onboard Spirit of Discovery.
The first appearances are on Channel Island Hop cruise (departure date July 23, 2019), Gourmet Spain (August 3, 2019) and Natural Scandinavia (August 17, 2019).
The Club by Jools is one of the three speciality restaurants aboard Spirit of Discovery, specialised in classic steaks.
The new ship is scheduled for delivery in Summer of 2019.
A 2nd newbuild, Spirit of Adventure, joins Saga Cruises fleet in 2020.
