Norwegian Cruise Line Resumes Hawaii Service

Norwegian Cruise Line announced it underwent evaluation and consultation with experts and authorities on the Big Island of Hawaii about the volcanic activity in the area.

The cruise company will resume its regular itinerary aboard Pride of America via calls at Kona and Hilo. Pride of America plans to port for the day in Hilo on Tuesdays, starting June 12, and in Kona on Wednesdays, starting June 13, as part of ship's regular schedule in Hawaiian Islands.

Norwegian Cruise Line's spokesperson said they were very happy to be returning to Hawaii. He added the safety and security of their passengers and crew remained company's first priority so they'll continue to monitor and evaluate the situation.
