Pinar del Rio ferry ship ran aground Friday afternoon, June 8, in the area of breakwater of Sant Antoni, Ibiza, Balearic Archipelago, when it was about to dock.
All 175 passengers onboard were evacuated 2 hours after the incident and transported ashore via Red Cross boats. No injuries were reported.
On Saturday, the ferry was already in Sant Antoni port and the 64 passenger vehicles which were carried onboard, were unloaded.
Ship's operator Balearia announced an investigation in order to clarify the cause for the accident.
The ship is now heading to the shipyards of Algeciras to be repaired.
