Deltamarin signed a contract with Norwegian Yacht Voyages (NYV) for conceptual design and consultancy services for NYV Caroline expedition mega yacht project.
The company will provide conceptual design along with selected architect partners, covering development of the technical documentation and design.
Polar Class 6 mega yacht will feature hybrid machinery solution that consists of dual fuel generators which can run on both LNG and diesel, energy storage for peak-shaving and a number of other solutions to minimise emissions.
Passenger capacity will be approx 220 persons in a total of 110 penthouses and suites, with ultra-luxury public spaces. The megayacht will operate worldwide with a focus on sustainable travel and low environmental impact.
