Holland America announced that its ms Prinsendam had been sold and leaves the fleet on July 1, 2019 to become part of the German cruise line Phoenix Reisen.
After the sale, the 37,983 GT, 835-passenger Prinsendam will be chartered back to HAL to continue sailing its planned cruises through July 1, 2019.
The itineraries of Prinsendam from July 1, 2019, onward are due to be assimilated by Veendam, Volendam and Rotterdam.
Holland America is reaching out to booked passengers and line's travel professionals in order to re-accommodate passengers on these voyages.
