SeaDream Yacht Club Introduces New Transatlantic Cruise

SeaDream Yacht Club introduces vacationers to the Scandinavian concept of shared comfort and contentment known as "Hygge", as the highlight to a 12-night Transatlantic repositioning cruise on SeaDream 1 from Caribbean to Mediterranean in April 2019.

SeaDream 1 sails from San Juan (departure April 14, 2019), visits Jost van Dyke (BVI) and Funchal (Madeira Island, Portugal), with Easter at sea, and cruise end in Malaga (April 27).

Along the way, SeaDream's staff will encourage passengers to explore and understand the definition of Hygge, as well as how Hygge food and wine is not only fuel for the body, but engages emotions and memories, enriches dining experiences in an era when the new luxury is leisure.

Travellers will be encouraged to join line’s award-winning kitchen staff in order to create delights like rich chocolaty petit fours, as well as partake in serene afternoon teas served with fresh-baked pastries.

Another highlight is SeaDream’s popular Champagne & Caviar Splash when the mega yacht stops for the day at Caribbean's Jost van Dyke and guests are invited to wade into the waters off the beach, to be served Champagne and caviar from a surfboard that is dressed in white linen, followed by gourmet barbecue on the beach.

Prices for the unique 13-day transatlantic crossing start from US$2745 pp, twin-share, and include SeaDream’s award-winning cuisine, meals and drinks from the no-charge bars, water sports, use of onboard fitness centre and golf simulator, port charges and taxes, crew gratuities.
