One Dead After Couple on a Honeymoon Cruise Were Involved in Zip-Line Accident

An Israeli couple who were on a honeymoon cruise aboard Royal Caribbean ship were involved in zip-line accident leaving one of them dead in Honduras last week.

24-year-old Egael Tishman and 27-year-old Shif Fanken were on a cruise excursion to zip line close to West Bay, Roatan, when the horrible accident happened at about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 5.

Fanken got stuck halfway along the zip line, while Tishman came behind her, and both collided with one another mid-air. The couple sustained serious injuries and were immediately transported to a hospital, where Egael Tishman died overnight.

The woman was transported by air to a hospital in the United States.

Allure of the Seas was in the middle of a week-long itinerary which departed from Fort Lauderdale FL July 1.
