AIDA Cruises and Bild am Sonntag newspaper joined forces to find the ‘godparent family’ for the new ship of the cruise line, AIDAnova. Devoted fans of AIDA and families who have long dreamed of a cruise vacation, are now encouraged to apply.
The newbuild in the AIDA fleet will be officially christened on August 31 at a spectacular event at Meyer shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. AIDA Open Air with a christening show and live concert by DJ David Guetta is one of the greatest events in northern Germany.
Families consisting of 2 to at most 5 people can apply. Apart from taking over the godparents' role, the christening family will win a 7-day voyage aboard AIDAnova. Applications can be made until Sunday, July 22, at 11:59 p.m. A panel of judges will pick the winning family who will name AIDAnova.
