Carnival Pride back to Tampa

Carnival’s 2,124-passenger Carnival Pride returns to Port of Tampa in order to operate on a series of 5- to 14-day cruises in January and February 2017. The voyages will provide travelers with various “Fun Ship” choices from the popular Florida port.

The cruise ship has undergone a multi-million renovation adding consumer favorites like the full-service Bonsai Sushi, BlueIguana Cantina serving Mexican fare and Guy’s Burger Joint, developed together with Food Network Star Guy Fieri, along with brand new beverage concepts like the RedFrog Pub inspired by the Caribbean, RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar and the Alchemy Bar - cocktail pharmacy-themed.

The enormous WaterWorks aqua park is anothe addition, highlighted by Green Thunder, the steepest and fastest water slide at sea.

Carnival Pride will offer a series of 7-day cruises out of Tampa departing on January 15, 22 and 29, and February 19, 2017, visiting the most popular Caribbean destinations, including Cozumel, Belize City, Mahogany Bay and George Town. The vessel will also offer a 5-day round-trip cruise from Tampa (Feb 14-19, 2017), calling at Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Each of the destinations are renowned for their beaches, sightseeing choices and perfect water sports opportunities.

Prior to her deployment to Tampa, the Pride will operate on a 13-day "Carnival Journeys" cruise from Baltimore on January 2, arriving in Tampa on January 15, 2017. Ports of call include  Cozumel, Grand Turk, Cartagena, Colon, Limon, Mahogany Bay and the newest Caribbean destination, Amber Cove in Dominican Republic.

A 14-day "Carnival Journeys" cruise will depart from Tampa on February 26, visiting Aruba, Bonaire, Cozumel, Colon, Limon and Saint Maarten before arriving on March 12, 2017 in Baltimore. Following this cruise, Carnival Pride will resume her year-round schedule of 7-day voyages out of Baltimore, beginning March 12, 2017.
