Passenger Medevaced From Grand Princess

A female passenger has been medevaced from a Princess Cruises ship off the coast of Oregon after suffering kidney failure.

The US Coast Guard was called to Grand Princess Monday morning, August 13, around 50 miles (80 km) southwest of Coos Bay.

The 76-year-old lady was airlifted from the cruise ship and transported to Bay Area hospital. Her condition was not announced.

At the time of accident Grand Princess was sailing on a 10-night, round-trip Inside Passage (roundtrip San Francisco) cruise.
