Celebrity Cruises newest ship, Celebrity Edge, will boast with brand’s most technologically advanced main theater, as well as the most production shows of any vessel in the the history of the brand, the largest cast of performers on any premium ship, and more entertainment than ever before.
- The Theatre: Celebrity Edge's Theatre blurs the line between performance and audience, immersing guests in entertainment like no other. With 4 stage areas and 3 huge, moving projection screens, the venue offers an ever-changing canvas for productions. The main stage is extended into the audience thus creating theater-in-the-round sensation. The duo-directional rotating platform is raising almost 7 feet (2 metres) above the stage to take performances to a new level. With a couple of rotating spiral staircases, 16 state-of-the-art video mapping laser projectors, 10 synchronized panoramic projection screens, and aerial performance rigging, the technology behind the scenes is expected to sometimes steal the show.
- The Club: Brought to life via collaboration with the visionaries behind Eden-Butler and well known designer and architect Patricia Urquiola, Edge's Club is a progressive space which changes from morning to early the next morning. During the day, the venue offers experiences like the Funovation Laser Maze Challenge or Drone Hunting laser obstacle course. At night, The Club puts a contemporary spin on Prohibition era with 20’s-inspired cocktails and aerial saxophonist. Celebrity’s Hypno Cam Experience is the first dance party at sea to feature a high-tech camera passed around to capture photos, instantly displayed on a huge LED screen.
- Kids Club: Onboard Celebrity Edge, the brand takes the Camp at Sea program to its next level for younger cruisers of all ages with over 500 activities, such as line’s first youth coding experience at sea, and a pair of completely separate contemporary spaces: one for kids and one for teens, called The Basement.
Celebrity Cruises has infused entertainment throughout. At the Rooftop Garden, passengers can enjoy experiences like the Rooftop Concert Series and Garden Cinema Series, the evolution of brand’s Taste of Film experience which is an under-the-stars moviegoing experience featuring live musical performances.
The iconic Eden is due to feature evolving entertainment as the spot transforms from “chillful” escape in the morning to “playful” in the afternoon to “sinful” at night. Daytime experience includes Meditation at Edenand performances, while as dusks falls, Eve at Edenbegins. Created via partnership with Variety Worldwide, the theatrical journey is due to indulge every sense and put passengers at the center of experience, for a fusion of performance art, nightlife and culinary exploration.
