CMV Adds Cricketing Theme to 2 Cruises in October

CMV-Cruise and Maritime Voyages offers 2 cricket themed cruises in October 2018.

CMV Magellan departs from Bristol on October 22 on a 6-night "European Cities and Rivers" itinerary visiting Rouen, Antwerp and Amsterdam.

CMV Columbus departs from London Tilbury on "European Cities Break" (5-night itinerary) which includes Amsterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg.

The UK-based company CMV booked top names including Mike Gatting, Devon Malcolm, Joel Garner and David Gower, from the world of cricket. Depending on the cruise guests take, it includes a line up of former England cricketing stars as well as past county legends from Essex and other counties. The well-known TV presenter Nick Hancock (from Sky TV's "They think it’s all over") will be on hand to see the fair play.

Onboard CMV Magellan sailing from Bristol will be legend David Gower OBE, Dean Headley, Malcolm Nash, Joel Garner, Jack Shanty and Mark Alleyne. Onboard CMV Columbus, cruising from London will be Mike Gatting OBE, John Lever MBE, Devon Malcolm, Ray East, Alan Wells, Graham Napier. Passengers will be able to see TV style quizzes on Cricket, watch large screen cricket highlights, meet and talk to the players in Taverners Pub.

Lord’s Taverners is charity partner for the cruise. Its mission is to enhance prospects of disabled and disadvantaged young people using cricket or other forms of recreation and sports to engage with them.
