P&O Cruises Australia’s ship Pacific Aria completed a 12-day drydock refurbishment in Singapore with new furnishings and features including a new-look Dome venue.

  • The top-deck spot with ocean views was refreshed to take on a modern nautical theme via dark blue and white hues, soft lighting and drapes in keeping with the look of the same venue onboard sistership Pacific Eden. By day, the Dome is the right place for board games, dance classes, trivia and relax on the lounges. In the evening it transforms into a chic dance-spot.
  • The Elemis Spa was also enhanced during the refit and now sports a Barber Shop. Complete with gold framed mirrors, leather swivel chair and luxe curtains, the professional grooming service offers hot towel shaves along with beard trimming and styling.
  • The 28 suites, 120 balcony staterooms and Penthouse were fitted with new outdoor furniture and new carpets.
  • The finishing touch on Pacific Aria is the Southern Cross livery emblazoned on ship's hull, a signature feature across all 5 ships in the fleet.

In total, 1000 pieces of furniture, 6000 m of fabric and over 10,000 m2 of new carpet were fitted on the 1500-passenger ship. A selection of stylish pieces of artwork and contemporary wallpaper adorns the public spaces.

Pacific Aria now returns to her Brisbane homeport where she is due to undertake a range of longer voyages to the South Pacific Islands as well as shorter trips closer to home.
