Fred Olsen Cruise Lines announced the launch of onboard coffee & luxury chocolate shop: its Bookmark Café.

The line first introduced the relaxing, sociable area of four ships during their dry-docks in 2013-2014. The popular addition to onboard facilities, adjoining ships’ Libraries, serves specialty teas and coffees, as well as high-quality Champagne Truffles, Pralines and other tempting hand-made chocolates.

The Sales and Marketing Director for the line, Nathan Philpot, said that the concept for ‘Bookmark Cafe’ stemmed from where the coffee shops were positioned on each vessel, and the brand had a simple design, which complemented the stylish onboard décor.

Food, drink and overall dining experience have long been of great importance for Fred. Olsen. Its team of expert Chefs have been awarded the prestigious ‘Telly Award’ of Holiday & Cruise Channel for ‘Britain’s Best Cruise Line for Food’.

Bookmark Cafés are situated on Lounge Deck 7 onboard ms Balmoral, Fred. Olsen’s flagship; Lido Deck 7 on ms Boudicca; Lounge Deck 5 onboard ms Braemar, and Lido Deck 7 on ms Black Watch.
